Boost your Writing Profits.

Another week gone, already 2011 is racing on, many of you will have decided that it is time to really crack your Internet business this year. As you know there are many ways to make money online.

You can blog, carry out writing campaigns and get articles accepted to the leading article directories. you can also run a consultancy business for online marketers. You may create and sell your own product, or you may promote the products of other people. There are no rights and wrongs here all are sustainable methods.

I want to offer you a chance to use this weekend and make some money, by exploiting your creativity, if you love writing.

I’ve tracked down the best offer I’ve ever seen anywhere, at any time for Jason’s Fladlien’s $40 An Hour Ghostwriting System.

Now, this isn’t a brand new product, but it contains timeless information that doesn’t date, and you can pick up the Ghostwriting System video training course for $17 (most sites sell it for $47).

This course is based around Jason’s own experience of writing articles for clients, and how to get a maximum return for your time investment. It’s a tried-and-tested system, and if you like to write for money, it’s perfect for you.

It certainly boosted my income when I started at RentaCoder.com, now known as vWorker.com. My profile can be viewed here.

As a mature university student reading Psychology I had read many books on time management and productivy, yet I still learned loads from Jason.

Competion is really Healthy Don’t Shy Away From A Competitive Niche

I have helped many internet marketers over the years both through forums and through mentoring and I love doing that. At the moment I am mentoring someone in Brisbane. One of the things that is interesting about mentoring is the fact that at some point it always takes you somewhere that you could never in a million years envisaged.

I was talking to my mentee and she was asking how I feel about black hat methods of marketing. During the course of the conversation I said that it was not by purpose to stop her, but I did not recommend it.

It turns out that she did not want to use black hat methods; she could see that it had a place in certain types of situations, but she wanted to build a sustainable business.

Competition in an Internet Marketing Niche

Her underlying worry was competition in a certain niche. She was worried that she could not beat the competition.

Sometimes I suggest a niche or a product that my mentees will benefit from, but they back off faster than if they had been burned at the stake.

They are put off even researching the niche.

Me I love competition, the more the merrier is my philosophy, because I would rather be a small fish in a huge ocean than a large fish in a puddle.

The more the competition the greater potential to earn money. If there is a lot of competition then there is a starving crowd of rabid buyers waiting to buy.

The thing that often puts me off is the fact that I cannot use all of the available marketing tools out there. As a general rule if I can’t build a Squidoo lens in that niche I will think twice.

For a niche as long as I can find 50-60 keywords that will each have more than 100 hits a day and less than a million in competition then I am satisfied.

I don’t even have to like the niche because if it is profitable I can outsource it.

Once you have learnt a skill the best way to make money from it is to teach others how to do the same and as long as you can prove that you are good at it you can make a serious amount of cash.

An example here is my Ebook how to write review sites in the world of physical products that sell.

My clients know that I am using my own hard earned experience; I used to shy away from physical products because the commission was too small but once I found out that you could use Amazon to find the markets available and then find far more lucrative sites to provide the products, I had cracked the code.

To make serious money online you have to break that fear factor and my next ebook will be the psychology behind fear and failure. It is important to recognise how our subconscious mind got those beliefs and how we keep reinforcing those negative beliefs.

For sure everyone who has failed as an Internet marketer hates money on a subconscious level, but by finding out how they got those beliefs they begin to de-programme themselves.

One of the paradoxes of Internet marketing is the fact that those that do it well, love it they could not imagine doing anything else. In other words they do not regard their work as work, but rather something they love. They have a real connection with people. There are others that want a quick buck to be able to do nothing all day. Those are the one’s that are frigthened of competition, because they do not want to provide value for money.

Generate More Traffic to Your Website Using Social Media.

SEO techniques are never written in stone because Google is constantly changing the goal posts, and social media is becoming more important. As more and more people become adept at manipulating the popularity of the website by including relevant keywords and more Google will need to find more relevant ways of ascertaining the true popularity of the website.

Using Social Media

social media
Today everyone under the age of 30 are users of social interactive sites such as twitter and Facebook. Many experienced Internet marketers have dismissed this as something that they need not do. To some extent I think this is a mistake because whether you like it or not all blog owners are actually involved in at least two types of social activity, social media traffic is important. The first is interaction in the form of comments; your traffic to the blog by its very definition is social media, because it is humans visiting your site. The third potential for interactive traffic is subscriptions from RSS feeds.

Boosting your social media traffic

If you can demonstrate to Google that you have social interaction and traffic they will increasingly view this is a more natural interaction than linked keywords, and boost your social media rankings

How can Google tell how much traffic you are getting?

At the risk of telling my grandmother how to suck eggs, you need to be tracking how much traffic you are getting, where the traffic is coming from and the pages that are being visited on your website. The most common way Internet marketers use to track this is Google analytics! It’s not rocket science to make the leap that if you’re tracking your traffic in Google analytics then so is Google. You can prevent Google from getting your traffic data by switching to Clicky analytics.

There are several methods of traffic generation using both paid and free methods, although free traffic generation is essentially an oxymoron; you either pay for traffic in time or in money or both. Some blog owners find that it is easier and quicker and more effective to pay for. However there are other methods other than pay per click, you can pay for tweets, Digg submissions, Stumble, blog reviews. One of the best methods of generating traffic is to make your own videos and submit them to you Tube. All of the above methods will show Google you are trying to generate traffic to your website. All Google is looking for is some form of proof that the site is run by humans for humans and what better methods than social proof.

Social Interaction and social media traffic

Any form of interaction with your readers is by nature social. They can tweet about your site; share in its social sites and new comments. By getting them to upload a link to your article Facebook you are killing two birds with one stone, you are getting evidence of a social activity and a comment. WordPress has many available plugins to make this process automatic. Facebook’s commenting system can be used on HTML site as can DisQus.

Always add an RSS feed to your blog not just because it provides evidence that people like your blog content and are prepared to subscribe to it, but a lot of people are looking for content and when you look up RSS feeds for certain keywords nothing comes up at all. It is a good way to get your content syndicated on other blogs.

Adding widgets to your bog can also kill two bids. Now you can add a widget from Ezine Articles onto the sidebar of your blog. That encourage your readers to at least click on your articles, and if they really like your style they can add your content ot the blog, potentially increasing your followers.

Make 2011 the year you increase your traffic, page rank and use different social media techniquesyou will see a difference in your profits.Read more about social media traffic here.
Social media website content can come in many shapes and forms:

Text – text is often used to put across opinions or write blog posts.
Images – images and photos can display anything from holiday photos to shots by professional photographers.Sharing your images is social media.

Audio – social media lets you create podcasts for users to download. This means that your users can use social media to listen to your posts.

Video – video sites mean that you’ll be able to record a video of your child’s birthday for friends all over the world to see.Another method of utising social media.

Use all the social media available and you will increase your traffic because your pages will be more relevant to a wider range of users.Ignore social media at your peril, because if you are not using social media your competitors will.

Think What you Want a Domain to do, before Purchasing a Domain Name

What Domain Name to Buy?

What to purchase as a domain name comes up a lot and because my domestic arrangements are unusual I have to think a lot about it.

My homes are in Spain, but I spend a large part of my year in London as a mature Psychology student. I work as an offline SEO consultant in London and I am often asked by London companies do they need a dot.com or a dot.co.uk domain name.

The answer is that if you are targetting a local area then you need a dot.co.uk domain name. For instance if you are a heating engineer in Wimbledon London SW19, then all of your clients are going to come from London. In this case you need a dot.co.uk address, because a UK domain name is advantageous for local business.

However if you have a local business in Wimbledon SW19 and you export solar panels then your needs are very different. You are targetting customers in America then you need a .com domain name. You could rank in America with a dot.co.uk, but it will take years and you will need a site with a lot of backlinks and unique content. In other words you are starting off with a handicap.

Think where your customers are before buying a domain name

Think where your customer base will be and purchase your domain name accordingly.

How do .info domain names rank

These domain names are cheaper to buy than their .com counterparts, but they do have their uses. You can purchase them as add on domain names. For instance the domain name of this blog is catherineford.com, and I could have puechased the catherienford.info. Why would that have been advantageous for me? It would have increased my authority status and meant that I would have had more coverage. However, I was not at the time interested in another domain name and it is a decision I have never regretted.

The Sarah Staar Firesale Bonus

I had lunch this weekend with Sarah Staar and she was telling me about this fantastic Sarah Staar Firesale . The Sarah Staar Firesale is a first and probably the last. This is the onlt time that you will be able to purchase the Sarah Staar Firesale.

May bonus for the Sarah Staar Firesale

If you have been reading my blog for any amount of time you will now that I have attended two of Sarah staar’s workshops and that by following her Super Affiliate Workshop I started to make a full-time income online.

The thing about Sarah’s Staar’s workshops is the fact that they are small and personal. They are conducted in a way that everyone present can get the most out of them and ask questions. They could be described as the idiots guide!

The first workshop I ever attended was the Super Affiliate worksdhop and I had made money before the end of the two-days. If I can do that whilst attending a workshop then you still have time to make a profit before Christmas.

If you buy this and implemented today you will have the chance to have your Christmas on Sarah Staar, The Sarah Staar Workshop is open for just five days and I doubt that she will ever repeat it again.the

I have so much faith in Sarah Staar’s workshops I am offering anyone who buys from my link a free website theme designed for more a greater CTR (Click the through Rate) for AdSense. The third of the workshops being offered in the Sarah Staar firesale covers AdSense. I know most of you may groan, the and say you have never made any money from Adsense. I used to be the same, I read about all these people making a fortune from AdSense and wondered how they did it. I paid for many courses and AdSense was still a mystery to me. However, Sarah’s rule simple explanation of how AdSense works changed all that. Suddenly I had the absolute ironclad guarantee before I made a page that it was going to make a profit. Now I make at least three AdSense sites every week and they are all profitable.

The great thing about the AdSense sites is the fact that they are set it and forget it models. I am still making money from sites that I made in 2007 and many of them have not been updated. If you want to take the mystery out of AdSense top these workshops are a must. The
Sarah Staar Firesale workshops can be found here.

Are you Setting Yourself up to Fail as an Internet Marketer.

Will this work? Gosh don’t know, but there is only a few copies left, so I had better buy it in case I may ever want to use it.

Despite the fact that you are working on micro sites and don’t use Adsense, or you are concentrating on list building.

Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with this fantastic report and videos about creating Adsense income. I bought it a few weeks ago and have implemented it and my Adsense income has increased exponentially. The point is I bought it on Jayne’s recommendation because she said she would earn money with it within a week. The second important point is that I took action on the report and videos rather than letting them sit on my hard drive.

Again there is another subtle difference in mindset – Jayne she would make money with this, whilst I thought I could!

Since I wrote this post a few days ago I have been thinking a lot about mindset. Just getting distracted means that we are frightened of taking a step, in case we mess up. How many professional would be Internet marketers do you know?

I was reflecting on that the other day I met my friend a full time internet marketer for a working lunch, and the one thing that impresses me about Jayne is her focus.

She just gets on with things, she does not have to know why they work, she just tries it out and then tests it, if it does not work she tries something else and then tests that until she gets what she wants. There are two lessons to be learned here, one don’t mess with the mechanics until you have tested the results and two, who the hell cares what makes the mechanics work, just do it. As I keep writing the only thing that separates those that make a fantastic amount of money on the Internet and the rest is massive action. if something has been proved to work a couple of times then is the time to start tp unpick it and know why, and not before!

Me I have a different mentality, to Jayne I like to see the bigger picture, but today I am reflecting on that. I taught myself html code and learned how to make my own blogs, Jayne concentrated on making enough money a month to pay for the creation and content of three new sites.

Jayne was not at all concerned about how things work, all she cares about is whether they work. I have a lot of time for Tiffany Dow over on the Warrior Forum and she has just started a thread about this and she is absolutely right. There is no money in the big picture.

Let me know what you think?

Wealthy Affiliates. A declaration of Intent

TIFFANY DOW PLR MINIMARKET

Wealthy Affiliates, the Journey

You know, sometimes no matter how straight forward a program of development is, it can be overwhelming for a newbie. Has this ever happened to you? You start something and think that it is going to be easy, and then find out that there a lot of steps to learn.

The Wealthy affiliates University

I started at Wealthy Affiliates in 2007, intending to stay eight weeks, the then duration of their course. I ended up doing pretty much nothing with the wealth of information available, often neglecting to log in for months.
It was all too mind boggling……………..
“Wow. Think of all the money I could make.
What direction should I go?
What if I do this?
What if I can’t learn this?
Maybe I should read some other resources, as well, yes I will definitely do something when I have learned about it fully (by definition this is of course never). That guy is a super affiliate, shall I emulate him? How about her? Blogs, eh? Interesting.” In the end I stopped entering the site at all because I had no time to implement it. Yet despite all this I still paid the subscription to Wealthy Affiliates, sensing it would be important one day.
Now I’ve found an approach that is working for me because it makes me take action every day. There is eight week of lessons, but they are not written in stone, and today they are all available from day one, when I joined they were drip fed once a week.
When I turn my computer on I log into Wealthy Affiliates and do something from the lessons from wherever I left off. Some days it is just reading a small section, but other days I get gripped with the task in hand. Whatever Wealthy affiliates teaches me I take action on immediately, I do not leave that section, until I have finished the step.
Here’s the crucial key: I do not allow myself to do anything else on the computer until I have logged in to WA and completed at least one task.
I get more excited by the possibilities, rather than getting side tracked. The more I learn the more the big picture makes sense to me. The better I understand things the easier it is to see myself following through in the future. The site also has a really useful tutorial section written by member’s and this is updated often. i have even written a couple of tutorials myself.
By taking action I am accelerating my learning processes because I am learning from my mistakes. I am becoming less scared and apprehensive because I know I can bust my barriers and get out of my comfort zone in fact that is what I am doing every day, challenging my comfort zones.
My focus is maintained. Every time I find my mind wanders less because I have a focus. Better than that my plan is becoming a reality and every day I get stronger. I have just been accepted into Kyle’s 30 day Strip that Fat campaign and I will get the opportunity to create a domain, webpage and campaign from scratch under Kyle and Carson’s direct tutelage, how cool is that!
Kyle and Carson are the owners at Wealthy Affilaite, but they are in the forum most days. The cool thing about it is you can ask dummy questions without wondering if someone thinks you an idiot, because Welathy Affilaites is a community and everyone assists in your learning curve.

Wealthy Affiliates Free Tools

Wealthy Affiliates have loads of cool tools, an express site builder where you can install a blog from start to finish in less than a minute. My favourite Wealthy Affiliates tool is actually the keyword tool, it beats Google into a cock hat, because the information its gives you is so much more comprehensive, and if my results are anything to go by the Wealthy Affiliates keyword tool is also more accurate.
By working on my keyword research and getting my preparation done properly I am getting maore sales and better results. It has taken me a lot of time to realise that getting results is more omportant than staying in my comfort zone. Welathy Affilaites has achieved that for me, if you would like to chieve Interent success and you want a sure way of getting results then try out Wealthy Affiliates for yourself and get the free bonus report.

Wealthy Affiliates

Wealthy Affiliate

As you can see I now have the member rank of 71, and climbing slowly. Whether you want to make more sites for Christmas, or just learn how to promote other people’s products then Wealthy Affiliates is worth a look, because it cuts through the learning curve and concentrates on results.

How to write a best selling ebook

TIFFANY DOW PLR MINIMARKET, PLR WHOLESALE

What Makes a best selling ebook?

Over the years I have written hundreds of ebooks and about eight of them have ended up as Clickbank best selling ebook. You may be surprised at the factors that separate a best selling ebook from an ebook that sinks without a trace. Yes before you ask I have writtten ebooks that sank without a trace, – two spring to mind instantly one on pizza recipes that could easily have been a best seller, and one on acne was far better than anything else on the market at the time.
best selling ebook
Why were those two ebook good and why did they dive, they both failed for the same reason and they were both excellent information products for the very same reason.

They were both practical easy to read books which solved a set of problems immediately.

The constituents of a best selling ebook

Ebooks are not like real books, real books tell grand tales, they take you off somewhere else and stimulate your imagination. Ebooks on the other hand are bought because someone has an immediate problem. That problem is so pressing that someone has to solve it immediately.

For instance if your child has chicken pox and they are scratching and crying you want a solution now, even if it is 5.00 in the morning, because without it your child can be scarred for life. Imagine how many times that happens every day around the world. What parent can ignore their child in pain!

The best way to define what your ebooks are going to be about is to find your customers before you start to write.
Both of those ebooks failed because of bad marketing techniques. The pizza book was marketed to every would be chef, cook in the universe.

If the owner of the material had used his noodle he would have sold it to would be first time pizza makers. Sadly I sold the copyright to that material, because I could have made that book a best seller.

It was easy to read and gave you a step by step foolproof way to make pizzas. Now that is of no use at all to someone who wants to make a birthday cake, or a byriani, or build a cot.

A best selling ebook will never become so if it is not marketed correctly and to market it you have to drill down to your market and find your customers, before setting pen to paper.

Russell Grant “I am What I am !” A Branding Challenge

Russell Grant Does an Adam Ant as He Stands and Delivers

Russell Grant

Strictly Come Dancing: Russell Grant is a ‘giant Ferrero Roche’
Well I was what I was and I had the greatest time dancing the American Smooth with Flavia and I think I did pretty well all things considered. Did you like the quick change? I have never been in and out of my clothes quicker! …

www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk

For the past few weeks I have been doing Tiffany Dow’s branding Challenge and in a way it has been tough, but nowhere near as tough a branding challenge as Russell Grant underwent here.

Russell Grant is an astrologer who has appeared on the British Programme “Strictly Come Dancing” which is a ballroom and Latin dancing elimination competition. Now I am not sure what the odds were but they had to be fairly high that Russell Grant would have been knocked out in the first week.

Russell Grant Wows the nation

Thanks to the brilliant choreography of his dancing partner Flavia, Russell Grant has entertained everyone and got more than his fair share of standing ovations. There is absolutely no doubt about it as you can imagine the man cannot dance, but that has not been the point the man can entertain in style. he has been sitting on a big black Spanish bull as a torador, a perfect foil that prevented him from dancing but showcased his joie do vie perfectly. Because Russell Grant has entertained in style, as he has had a fabulous time and loved every second of his dancing experience we have loved it with him.
